123KLAN recently had the opportunity to be part of the first edition of the SHINE ON ST PETE 2015 a new graffiti / streetart event held in St-Petersburg, Florida.
SCIEN & KLOR were glad to join the locals such as BASK, CHAD MIZE, VITALE BROS. as well as many other US artists like MORNING BREATH, EVOCA1, SHARK TOOF or ERIK JONES.
Insanely hot weather and sudden rainstorms made the whole process a bit more complicated than expected but we finally managed to accomplish this massive mural in 3 days. We really wanted to make a wall with a very strong graphic design feeling to it, mixing our both favourite creative fields, graffiti and design graphic. We are pretty satisfied with the result.
We really had a blast taking part of such a cool event and can’t wait to come back already! In the meantime this wall can still be seen on 301 20th St. S.

123KLAN à récemment été invite à la première édition du SHINE ON ST PETE 2015 un nouveau festival de graffiti / streetart en Floride.
SCIEN & KLOR ont rejoint les talents locaux BASK, CHAD MIZE, VITALE BROS. ainsi que d’autres artistes Américains de renoms, dont: MORNING BREATH, EVOCA1, SHARK TOOF ou encore ERIK JONES afin de peindre une série de murales originale à travers toute la ville de St Petersburg.
La chaleur extrême (40 degrès), l’orage et les averses ont un peu compliqué la réalisation de la fresque qui finalement a été produite en 3 jours.
Nous voulions lui donner un aspect très graphique en mixant nos 2 catégories créatives préférées, le graphisme et le graffiti, pour les couleurs, nous nous sommes inspirés.
Malgré la météo capricieuse nous avons passé du bon temps sur place et avons déjà hâte d’y retourner. Si vous par chance vous vous trouvez dans la région, vous pouvez allez voir notre murale au numéro 301 sur la 20th street South.
