123KLAN X RIOT GAMES
In 2018, 123KLAN contributed to the visual design of the "Rift Rivals" World Championship held in South Korea. The Rift Rivals 2018 was an international League of Legends tournament organized by Riot Games. It pitted different competitive regions of League of Legends against each other. The event took place from July 3 to 9, 2018, featuring teams from major League of Legends regions, namely Europe (EU LCS), North America (NA LCS), South Korea (LCK), China (LPL), Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (LMS), as well as Brazil (CBLOL), Latin America (LLN/CLS/CBLOL), and Japan (LJL).
If you've been following us for a while, you know we love working on video games projects. From the time we had our own race track and spaceship in Wipeout to some of our last works inspired by Cuphead and Katamari Damacy, gaming can be a great inspiration for us.
So when RIOT GAMES approached us to work on the visuals for their massive international League of Legends Esports tournament "RIFT RIVALS", we knew we wanted to make something extra dope!
From the event logo, the hero frames to show off the teams and the players, the on-stage backgrounds and all the various assets we provided, this was for sure the coolest Esports event ever!
